Are you a Solution Architect who enjoys combining designing a structured solution architecture with hands-on working with engineers? We are now looking for a solution architect who can translate functional requirements and non-functional requirements into a working product.

Solution Architect at Cleverbase

We see the role of Architecture as an enabling function so teams can act autonomously as much as possible. This means setting boundaries and providing clear direction for the overall structure of our systems, managing technology and techniques and way of working. You will be actively involved with designing, building and delivering systems or products. This could even be building solutions directly related to architecture or the delivery pipeline.

You will act as an expert in the business domain of your team and are able to translate high-level business requirements to technical solutions. You promote a Domain Driven Design (DDD) way of working and actively seek out ways to improve this approach. Because you know the overall process and architecture framework and can navigate it, you ensure the applications of the team meet the architectural requirements. In this role, you’ll be working with, but mainly in your team. You report on non-functional requirements, act as a point of contact and provide a feedback loop to the team. People gravitate towards you when it comes to technical expertise and you communicate and document all necessary information. 

 

Who are you?

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of working experience as a Software Engineer. 
    • The team’s solution consists of (back end for) front end (Javascript/Typescript), backend (Scala and mobile (iOS, Android). You should have experience in full stack development and, more importantly, you are able to assess whether the technology and techniques in use are fit for purpose. 
  • You have worked as a solution architect, tech lead or senior member of your team.
