Together, we are building a digital society where everyone is in control of their personal data.

About the role

We’re looking for a mid-level Integration & Support Engineer who helps external parties successfully connect to our services. You’ll be the technical point of contact for integration questions, onboarding and incidents — and you’ll translate those into concrete improvements in our systems. You’re a strong communicator, externally minded, and you’re comfortable implementing changes yourself in our codebase (with a focus on the JVM stack).

What you’ll do

  • Guide external parties/partners through onboarding and integration with our services.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues (API behavior, configuration, logs) and drive clear next steps.
  • Pick up change requests end-to-end: analysis, alignment, implementation, testing and release.
  • Work with the team on structural improvements: documentation, runbooks, integration checklists and overall reliability.
  • Communicate proactively with partners: manage expectations, share progress, and surface dependencies/constraints early.

What we’re looking for (experience & skills)

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with external stakeholders and can also go deep technically. You bring:

  • OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect experience: you’ve supported or built integrations and can troubleshoot real-world issues (tokens/claims/scopes/redirects/JWKS).
  • Experience supporting external teams/partners with technical onboarding/integration (APIs, configuration, debugging).
  • You can independently implement changes in a JVM environment (Java/Kotlin/Scala) and you’re comfortable working with code reviews.
  • Clear, structured communication — especially during incidents or when requirements are unclear.
  • A collaborative mindset, ownership, and a strong bias for finishing what you start.

Nice to have

  • Experience with an Identity Provider (e.g., Auth0, Keycloak, Azure AD, Cognito or similar).
  • Experience with JWT, key rotation, security configuration and writing integration documentation.
  • Experience with CI/CD and release processes.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary between €3,500 and €5,000, corresponding with your knowledge and experience.
  • A role with high impact on partner success and product quality.
  • A varied mix of support, engineering and continuous improvement work.
  • A team where collaboration, ownership and quality matter.

Last but not least

We want you to be yourself, and everyone is welcome. Our team is diverse, representing multiple nationalities, genders, ages, sexual orientations, religions, cultures, and personality types. This diversity is what makes our team so special!
