This validator is offered by Cleverbase, a Dutch provider certified by the EU to issue qualified signatures.
Qualified by the EU
The European Commission publishes a public register of every qualified trust service provider in the EU: the EU Trust List. Cleverbase is on that list as a Dutch provider.
What is a QTSP?
QTSP stands for Qualified Trust Service Provider: the status required in the EU to issue qualified signatures, seals and certificates.
That status is only granted after an independent audit against the eIDAS Regulation, and is reassessed periodically. Cleverbase has been a QTSP since 2018.
